The first event of the season kick off on what could be either a very cold or very nice February morning. Last year was proved to be the best weather day all season with highs in the 70's and light winds. The fishing was tough but the leaders sacked them up! It took 19.58 lbs. to claim first place and 8.11 Big Bass!

The second event will see temperatures starting to warm. Spring will be edging in and fish will start looking to move up. There has been resurgence of grass in the last year and this will be the first real opportunity for it to play. Will the fish and weather cooperate this year? Three bags over 20 lbs. hit the scales last year and it took over 18 just to make the top 5. March is always one to watch!

The third event of the season should have cool mornings and ideal water temperatures. Last year was a photo finish with the winners dropping 22.14 and being handed a win by an unfortunate penalty to the second place finishers. Will there be a revenge tour on the April event this year? Definitely not an event to miss.

The last regular season event of the season. Last year, Amistad fished decent with another phot finish with top prize being taken with 17.96 over the second place 17.84! It was a duel down to the wire between our AOY leaders and this sealed the deal for the 2025 Champ! This is definitely setting up as a revenge year for the second pace AOY team!
